REVEREND FLOYD L. NARCISSE, M. DIVINITY

The Reverend Floyd L. Narcisse is not ashamed to stand out as a dynamic, hard-hitting, entertaining, anointed, influential, and engaging preacher who delivers a relevant message infused with a 21st century perspective, but grounded in the message of Jesus Christ.

 

A native of Springfield, MA by the way of Providence, RI Floyd is the younger of two children. Rev. Narcisse first encountered the Lord at the Allen African Methodist Episcopal Church in Providence, RI. Rev. Narcisse has become a preacher amongst preachers who recognizes that his mantle is to be one of sharing, teaching, training, preaching, and encouraging the body of believers with the sound word of God.

 

Upon his graduation from Seekonk High School, he attended the prestigious Wilberforce College in Wilberforce, Ohio.  In 2002, with a degree in Political Science in hand and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he entered the Turner Theological Seminary at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, Georgia. ITC is known for its history and uniqueness as the only graduate seminary for black religious thought and ecumenism. In June 2012, Rev. Narcisse was appointed Special Assistant to the President of The Interdenominational Theological Center. Rev. Narcisse applied his leadership skills at ITC by serving as Public Relations Assistant in the Student Christian League (SCL).

He was an Intern Chaplain at the Juvenile Prison in Atlanta and was an active member of the local chapter of the NAACP. He also assisted in organizing the Rosa Parks Memorial Service in Alabama through his work with the Southern Regional office of the NAACP. 

 

While attending Antioch AME Church in Stone Mountain, Georgia, under the direction of Pastor Stafford J. Wicker he was instrumental in helping to form The R.O.C.K. (Redefining our youth, the Church, and the Kingdom of God) program. He graduated from ITC in December 2007 with a Masters of Divinity.

 

Rev. Narcisse is the former Pastor of First AME Lockport, NY, Bethel AME Lowell, MA, New Bethel AME Church, South Bay, FL and Bethel AME Coatesville, PA. While being in Coatesville, PA, he was appointed Vice Chair of the city Planning Broad and was an active member of the NAACP. In addition, he was one of the leading organizers of the Treyvon Martin rally in the city.

Rev. Narcisse previously served as Senior Pastor over Grant Chapel AME Church in Lake Worth, FL. Rev. Narcisse is proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity Incorporated 1906 first black fraternity. 

 

He is proud Father of Mehki and Saniya Natrice Narcisse. In March of 2019, married the love of his life, Terseca Aundria Narcisse.
